On this episode of Exploring Mind and Body we’re going to talk about Self Care During the Holidays.
Self care during the holidays is so important. In fact it could be the most important time of the year.
We have appetizers, and family and finances, all in which could stress us out. So we have to continue to take care of ourselves especially at the most stressful time of year.
A. Believe that you’re worth it
Believe that you’re worth it because you are. You deserve to be strong and healthy all year long, especially at this time of year!
B. Affirmations
We love affirmations as constant reminders of who are, and or who you want to become. Help yourself have that belief in yourself by continually reminding yourself using affirmations.
C. Make a plan
If you fail to plan you plan to fail. Have a workout plan, have a nutrition plan, take all the thinking out of it. Make sure you have a plan that you can stick to and find a professional to do it for you if you’re not sure how.
D. Make yourself a priority
Remember that you deserve this. So make yourself a priority. We make everyone else in our lives a priority and we put ourselves last. Put yourself at the top of the list and you’ll have more to give.
E. Make time for yourself
We all have the same hours in the day, it’s not that we don’t have time, it’s more so that we don’t make the time it takes to get our workouts in, or to meal plan and prep.
Make that time because you deserve it!
