There’s a couple things we should know about our muscles when it comes to muscle memory, recovery and seeing results. Muscle memory is when our muscles conform to over and over repetition. If we do enough reps of something or do something enough times our body will do it without thinking about it.
When it comes to muscle confusion we want to do keep our body guessing and avoiding this particular muscle memory so we can continue to see results.
To avoid plateau’s which means we aren’t seeing results anymore we need to continue to change up workouts, try new things, new exercises and movements. We can also increase reps and decrease weight, or reduce reps and increase weight.
There’s many things we can do to create muscle confusion and changing up workouts by doing just that. Keeping changing it up so you can continue to see results!
