A lifestyle detox is something completely different from your usual 3 day cleanse or fast or short detox. If you ask me I’ll always go with the lifestyle detox as opposed to the quick fast. If you’re looking for something that’s sustainable, something that’s worth doing, something that will last the look to a lifestyle detox; look for something that’s going to make a real difference in your health and in your life.
We’re far too obsessed with quick fixes in today’s day in age. With the rise in medication, obesity and unhealthy people we need to make a change, we need to make a different and it starts with each and everyone one of us. I’m going to take that a step further; not only should we but we need to be making a difference in our lives. The rise in child medication and child obesity is something we should all be concerned about. Our youth is the first generation that is not expected to live past to previous generation. And how could they, we aren’t giving them the tools to do so.
We’re not teaching our children how to live a life free of toxins, we are teaching them how we live, how we got to the point of looking for a detox. We go through all the toxins in our daily lives and then look for a quick fix, instead of the lifestyle detox we should be looking for.
Why not live that lifestyle, why not live free of toxins instead of trying to reset out system once a month or once every six months? Living a lifestyle detox is something we should all be looking for, not the quick fixes, not the medication and not something that won’t last.
