There are so many benefits to working out at home instead of the gym. I hear complains about traffic to and from the gym, lack of time to workout, the extra costs of gym fees and more. So I thought, why not write down some tips on why workout at home instead of the gym.
5 Reasons to Workout at Home
More efficient workouts
Gyms were meant for body builders, from squat racks to isolation machines. If you’re not a body builder and you aren’t injured, you can get a whole lot more out of your workout by doing more functional movements that are efficient and will get you the results you’re looking for.
There is driving time, there is traffic, there is even waiting in line to check in. Avoid all that by working out at home.
Gyms fees, money for gas, possibly parking fees. Course there are hidden fees, even cancellation fees. New shoes, gym clothes and more. It seems like there is always a reason to spend more money when you are working out at a gym. Workout at home and by pass all those extra fees.
Waiting for Equipment
This goes along with saving time. It seems like especially when you’re in a rush there is always someone on the machine you want. There’s a good chance no one is working out in the same area you are when you’re at home.
Avoid the Creepy Guy
We all know what it’s like to be watched by the creepy guy. He’s likely asked you for your phone number or is thinking about it as he engages in awkward conversation while you’re trying to get your workout in.
